Are you looking for which alternative energy source is exhaustible? Alternative energy is defined as energy that comes from a source other than fossil fuels or nuclear energy.
Are you curious about which energy source will stand the ultimate test of time? Or about which Alternative energy source is exhaustible? If so, then you may be interested in this . Here, you will learn about alternative energy sources and which of them is exhaustible , as well as which ones aren’t.
What is an Alternative Energy Source?
Alternative energy is defined as energy that comes from a source other than fossil fuels or nuclear energy.
The most common sources of alternative energy are the sun, wind, water and geothermal heat.
Renewable energy sources such as solar power and wind power can be used to power homes, businesses and factories. Renewable sources of energy are also environmentally friendly and do not contribute to global warming or climate change.
I previously published an article that plainly stated which energy source is the ultimate source of energy. Interested? The article answers the question; “What is the ultimate source of energy?”
Which Alternative Energy Source is Exhaustible?
Okay, back to our subject matter. Most forms of alternative energy are derived from natural resources. This means that they are not limited in the way conventional energy sources like oil, gas and coal are.
Still, it is worth mentioning that this doesn’t mean all alternative energy sources are inexhaustible. Apparently, they are. So which is the most exhaustible source of alternative energy?
Ever heard of biofuels? Considering biomass and biofuels as a source of alternative energy, we could (and will) run out of soil to grow them.
Growing them artificially may be possible indefinitely but there are still a lot of intangibles there. This classifies biomass and biofuels as the most likely exhaustible alternative source of energy.
Which alternative energy source is inexhaustible then?
Can you take a wild guess? No? Alright then! Pay attention now.
Although no energy source is available in unlimited amounts, it is safe to say that solar energy is the most abundant alternative energy available to us today.
Since solar energy is abundant on Earth, this means that it is not exhaustible or rather, it is the most abundant.
Some theory says that one day the earth and the sun may collide and create a black hole, which will eventually consume the Earth and end our existence completely. But we are not there yet. Currently, the sun is still expanding and slowly consuming Earth’s biosphere. Have no fear!
